 Summary
A young man, played by Hayden Christensen, checks into the hospital for heart surgery and suffers from a phenomenon known as "anesthetic awareness". He hears and feels everything that is happening to him, but is helpless to let anyone know.
In the process, he learns that his surgeon and friend, played by Terrence Howard, is involved in a plot to murder him for his money.
This thriller, written and directed by Joby Harold, also stars Jessica Alba as Christensen's wife, and Lena Olin, who plays his mother.
