   Summary

He's a great man, at least Åke would like to say so himself. He has a beautiful wife, two adorable children and perfect job... until he destroys his family by accidentally running over his own son.

His whole life is turned upside down as he doesn't only lose his son, but also his wife, daughter and his job.

This is a story abort a broken, self obsessed man, trying to get back what he's lost and desperately wanting to find someone to love, who'd love him back.

   Nina Jönsson - Lena Olin

Nina is married to a successful businessman and only wants what's best for her children. When her son is killed by her own husband she decides to divorce him and forbids him to see his daughter.

Soon she meets a new man. But her old one hasn't yet given up the hope to get her back and the boundaries she's set out for him is no longer working.

Will she forgive her son's murderer and take her husband back despite all his past mistakes?

   Memorable Quotes

Åke: We have to stick together, like a family.
Nina: We've never been a family. It’s been you and the rest of us.

Nina: Can't you just stay at your stupid disco and leave Emma and me alone?

Nina: I don't know why we drifted apart. Or, I do know. We didn't hold on to each other.

Nina: When I look at you I see my biggest failure.

Nina: Why couldn't we keep it up?
Åke: Keep what?
Nina: When it was new.

Åke: Love isn't enough.
Nina: Enough for what?
Åke: To give a meaning to life.

Åke: Go home now, please, Nina.
Nina: I love you.
