- Lena - The Sexiest Woman in Film of all time?

For the November issue of the famous men's magazine GQ, the latter compiled a list of the 25 Sexiest Women In Film - of all time. Much to our delight, Lena was picked for her role as Sabina in The Unbearable Lightness of Being.
On GQ's website, you can vote for your favorite of these 25 ladies and despite the strong competition, Lena is currently on rank #6. Yes, we have been busy! ;-)

- BREAKING NEWS! Lena in new movie: "The Reader"!

After a long silence in "Lenaland", this came totally out of the blue for us: Lena is starring in the movie The Reader alongside Ralph Fiennes and Kate Winslet. The film will premiere this winter. Sadly, Lena is not credited for her part, but we collected some general info on the movie, which you can find on our "The Reader" info page.
We also have the trailer for you - you can watch it directly in the right sidebar or download it in full glory from our Trailer Archive. HQ screencaps from the trailer can be found in the Gallery.

Today we can finally release Lasse's Multimedia Section.
So far it provides a couple of interesting interview clips about "The Cider House Rules", "The Shipping News", "Casanova" and "The Hoax", and a collection of commercials directed by Lasse.

- "Wallenberg: A Hero's Story"

In 1985's honored TV biopic "Wallenberg", about the Swedish humanitarian Raoul Wallenberg, Lena played a small role opposite Richard Chamberlain.

- Exclusive Interview about "Hachiko: A Dog's Story"

As already mentioned in one of our previous updates, Lasse's and Lena's daughter Tora Hallström will make her debut as an actress in Lasse's upcoming movie "Hachiko: A Dog's Story".

In an exclusive interview with LENA OnLINe, her screen partner Kevin DeCoste shares some insights on working with Tora and her father as well as two photos from the set. (Big thanks, Kevin!)

- Exclusive clip and 2 new pictures

On April 7, 2005, Lena presented the Centennial Greta Garbo Tribute, honoring the 100th birthday of the late Swedish actress. In addition to our exclusive report of this evening, we now also have a short recording of Lena's presentation, exclusively made for LENA OnLINe. Go to our Video Archive and scroll down to the Garbo Tribute clips to download it.

On top of that, we added two more photos of the Mamma Mia! movie premiere this summer: Lena with her beautiful daughter Tora*, and a gorgeous head-shot of Lena.
* Speaking of Tora: She will have her first appearance on the big silver screen in Hachiko, A Dog's Story, directed by her father, Lasse Hallström. The movie is currently in post-production, a release date is yet to be announced. We'll keep you updated!

- "After the Rehearsal" Special

In 1984, Lena starred under Ingmar Bergman's direction in his After the Rehearsal (OT: Efter repetitionen), a moving tale of love, obsession and rejection. Today, we have not only added the Film Database entry for this film, but also 285 screencaps and a 5 min. scene that displays Lena's powerful performance in this Bergman classic. You can download this high quality clip from our Video Archive or watch it in low resolution in the left sidebar.

- 2005 - A truly glamorous year!

Rummaging through our picture archives, we found a couple of photos that hadn't been added to the galleries yet, most of them from the Casanova premieres in 2005 (Venice, AFI, New York) with an absolutely stunning looking Lena!
