Now you can play your favorite Lena songs and Lena related music while browsing the site. The playlist contains 6 songs so far, but we'll add more in the future. - Looks like we're on a roll, because we have lots of more picture goodies for you! This time we're focusing on another "oldie": S/Y Glädjen (S/Y Joy), a Swedish family drama from 1989.

Since Lena has more screen time in this movie than usual, we could not help producing the insane amount of 300 screen caps! You can view them in the S/Y Glädjen Gallery, the respective Film Database entry has been added as well.

Thanks to Kakan for her help with the screen caps!

- Monday... usually not the best day of the week, but today, we'll sweeten the start into the new week with a real big SPECIAL about Flucht in den Norden (Flight North), a German-Finnish co-production from 1986, and probably the rarest of Lena's movies. A real tidbit for all true (hardcore) Lena fans! ;-)

We added 110 screencaps to the respective Gallery and wrote up some info on the movie in our Film Database.

Moreover, you can download and watch a 14 min. clip from the movie from our Video Archive. Lena speaking German is just to die for! :-)

- A little weekend treat for you: 140 screen caps and several "new" promo stills from the Lena classic Enemies: A Love Story [Visit Gallery]. We also added the respective Film Database Entry.

In case you haven't seen this movie yet, we urge you to make up for this! Lena is absolutely stunning as "Masha" - she earned an Oscar nomination for this role after all.

Nov 30, 2007 - "AWAKE" now in US theaters!
After a long time of screen absence, The Lena is finally back on the big silver screen:
Today, AWAKE premieres in theaters all over North America. (Click here to find your closest theater screening "Awake")

While the opinions on the movie differ, Lena got consistently pretty good reviews for her acting. [Like we ever had any doubt about that! ;-)] In other words: She rocks the movie!

- On November 19th, the BAM held a Memorial Tribute to the late Ingmar Bergman. Lena and many other famous Swedish actors affiliated with the "Dramaten" attended the event and remembered the legendary Swedish director with selected readings from his diaries.

Sadly, we only found one picture of this event - but what a nice one! (Click on the preview to enlarge it.) More information on the event have been posted in our Latest News Forum.

- After many weeks of silence in "Lenaland", we can finally provide you with a major picture update today, featuring lots of recent shots of "Red Carpet"-Lena!

The "Queen of the Screen" is back with a new movie: Awake, which had its premiere on November 14th in New York City. Since Lena has a major role in this movie, she attended the event with husband Lasse Hallström.

We have 80 gorgeous photos of them in our Public Events 2007 Gallery. Additionally, Jen from DesiringHayden.net, who was so lucky to attend the premiere as well and got to talk to "Awake"-star Hayden Christensen, took some exclusive pictures for LENA OnLINe. They can be found in the same gallery. (Again, big thanks, Jen!)

We also added a few stills from the trailer to the Awake Gallery.

More news on Awake will be posted as they become available. Please don't forget to check out our Upcoming Movies Forum, as new photos and information are usually being posted there first.

Oct 31, 2007 - Finally! AWAKE has a release date! It will hit the big screens in North America on November 30th.

Meanwhile, there's also an official site for the movie where you can watch the trailer! And Jen from our partner site DesiringHayden.net posted some high quality screen caps from the movie in our Forum! (Big thanks, Jen!)

Aug 29, 2007 - Today it's Anton's turn to treat us with some "new" magazine scans from 1999's InStyle magazine featuring Lena's wonderful home in Bedford and an interview from 2003's Gallery Magazine. The scans can be found in the Mag Archive 1990's and Mag Archive 2000's. Text versions are, as always, available in the Press Archive.

Aug 28, 2007 - Sandra has come through with two nice additions for our Magazine/Press archives: an article from a 1989 issue of the Swedish magazine "Damernas Värld" (Mag Archive 1980's) and a 2005 article from the Swedish "QX" magazine (Mag Archive 2000's) - where we finally get an answer to the question that many female fans always wanted to know, but were afraid to ask... ;-)

Aug 14, 2007 - Thanks to Forum Member Anton, we have a couple of new reading material for you, including some wonderful photos of Lena. In today's update you get scans of a 1986 issue of the Swedish magazine "Vecko Revyn" as well as scans from the 1991's "Interview Magazine" and the 1993's "W" magazine.

Aug 1, 2007 - On July 29th, Lena moderated the popular Swedish radio show "Sommar" (Summer), talking about her life and career and presenting personally chosen songs. You can now download the complete show (over 80 minutes!) from our Audio Archive. An English translation of her presentation will follow shortly.

Apr 17, 2007 - Admittedly, this comes a bit late (a big sorry for the delay!), but now we have 20 wonderful recent pictures of Lena and her husband, director Lasse Hallström, at the premiere of Lasse's "The Hoax". You can find them in our new Public Appearances 2007 Gallery. Enjoy! :-)

The movie premiered on April 1st in New York and stars Richard Gere, who was also Lena's co-star in Mr. Jones. The movie has received very good reviews among the critics, so big congrats to Lasse for yet another great piece of work!

Apr 16, 2007 - After a tiny spring hiatus we're now back to present you the first batch of questions & answers in our FAQ section. Of course, this collection is far from complete, so please don't hesitate to submit any other questions you might have.

Feb 25, 2007 - Thanks to our busy Swedish helpers Nina and Anton we can provide you with a new Film Database entry and 100 screencaps of one of Lena's older movies: Gräsänklingar (One-Week Bachelors), made in 1982.

This movie has only been shown on Swedish TV so far, hence the mediocre quality of the caps. Check out the new Gräsänklingar Gallery and the respective Film Database entry. As always: Enjoy!

Feb 11, 2007 - New section added: Since we've gotten more and more tiny article contributions that didn't really fit anywhere, we decided to create a new section: Snippets. There you will find all kinds of small articles and interesting tidbits with pictures and translations. The first batch is already up, and more stuff will follow as we receive it.

The pictures of the articles have also been added to the Gallery, mainly to the Family Album. Special thanks go to Anton and Polly for their help and contributions.

Also, if you're fluent in Swedish and/or a native speaker with some time on your hands, please don't hesitate to contact us, since we're always looking for freelance translators!

Feb 04, 2007 - We have one brand-new article for you in our Press Archive: Lena & Lasse reveal interesting tidbits in a recent Q&A test.

Moreover, we have 4 "new" pictures of 4 different decades: Lena 1967, Lena 1976, Lena 1980 and Lena 1991. Enjoy! And big thanks to Karin, Anton and Polly.

Jan 20, 2007 - Thanks to our Forum member Karin, we could add some really rare photos of Lena on stage to the slowly growing Theater Gallery. You can admire Lena in stills of August Strindberg's plays "Miss Julie" and "A Dream Play".

And for those of you who prefer 'moving pictures', there's a new "On the Set/ Making Of" clip of Ignition with "Action-Lena" available for download in our Video Archive. Hope you enjoy!

We're putting together a list of the top questions we most frequently receive... about Lena and the site... and putting them all into one place, complete with answers.
In addition, we're asking all of our members and visitors to let us know what we may have missed, so if you have a question you'd like to see become part of this area, just let us know!

We'll update the list as often as is necessary, so don't be shy! Send us your questions - or post them in the Forum!
